It’s about everything. It’s about soccer and religion, about light and sound, about the sky and creation, about economics and ethics, about life and art.

Mathematics is the axis around which everything revolves – at least it is according to Rudolf Taschner, who doesn’t merely give an account of his science itself as a captivating and inspiring mathematician in this book, but who marvels and contemplates the world from a mathematical point of view. And who aims at enticing his readers to the same astonishment.
